Hackuity Raises $19 Million for AI-Powered Vulnerability Management
Hackuity, a French vulnerability management company, secured $19 million in funding to bolster its AI-powered platform and expand its operations. This investment reflects the growing need for automated vulnerability prioritization and remediation, driven by the exponential increase in vulnerability data.
Hackuity, a vulnerability management company based in Lyon, France, has announced a $19 million funding round led by Forgepoint Capital. This latest investment brings the company’s total funding to $38 million and underscores the increasing demand for sophisticated vulnerability management solutions. Hackuity’s platform integrates data from over 130 security products, incorporating threat intelligence and business context to assist organizations in determining which vulnerabilities represent the greatest risk. The platform’s scoring engine considers factors like vulnerability severity, exploitability, asset criticality, threat activity, and potential business impact, aiming to streamline remediation efforts across security, IT, cloud, and engineering teams. Hackuity was founded in 2018 and previously raised $13 million in a Series A round in 2022, with investors including Bright Pixel Capital, Bpifrance, and Seventure Partners. The company’s growth is fueled by the belief that the volume of vulnerabilities will continue to outpace organizations’ ability to manage them manually, a trend increasingly accelerated by the rise of AI-powered vulnerability discovery tools like Mythos, developed by Anthropic.
