MIND, a data loss prevention (DLP) startup, has announced a $72 million Series B funding round, bringing the company’s total raised to $112 million. The investment was led by Crosspoint Capital Partners, with support from YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group. MIND emerged from stealth mode in 2024 with a new DLP platform leveraging artificial intelligence to proactively identify and block data exfiltration attempts across various environments, including email, endpoints, and SaaS applications. The platform utilizes multi-layered classification and AI agents to automate DLP processes, such as investigating events and tuning policies. MIND’s approach is designed to address the increasing complexity and speed of data movement in an era dominated by generative AI. The company intends to use the funding to accelerate platform development, expand into key enterprise markets, strengthen partnerships, and grow its team.
