Google to critical infra orgs: Our AI scanners won't be evil, promise

Google and Wiz have launched Scan for Good, an initiative utilizing AI agents (Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber and Wiz’s Red Agent) to proactively identify security vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure and public services. The program is being supported by CISA, and the AI agents will work with organizations to remediate identified security holes, with human researchers validating findings and making disclosure decisions.
