AIUC Raises $40 Million to Certify Enterprise AI Agents
AIUC, a startup focused on evaluating and certifying AI agents, has secured $40 million in Series A funding. This investment will allow them to expand their auditing capabilities and provide crucial security assessments for AI agents used by companies like Cursor and UiPath, addressing a growing bottleneck in enterprise AI security.
AIUC (Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company), a San Francisco-based startup, announced a $40 million Series A funding round, bringing their total raised to $55 million. The investment was led by Ribbit Capital, with additional support from First Harmonic. AIUC developed AIUC-1, a framework designed to assess enterprise AI agents against a range of risks, including jailbreaks, hallucinations, prompt injections, and data leaks. The framework utilizes approximately 5,000 adversarial risk scenarios and incorporates quarterly audits to address evolving threats. Currently, AIUC-1 is used to certify several AI agents, including Cursor, ElevenLabs, Fin, Harvey, KPMG, Lovable, and UiPath. The company intends to use the new funding to broaden its auditing services and expand into evaluating more advanced AI models.
