This experience led her to Carnegie Mellon University, where she worked on applied research in software engineering and cybersecurity, collaborating with organizations like Citi, Microsoft, and the Naval Oceanographic Office. She learned from key figures like Bill Gates, who brought her into the emerging field of cybersecurity.
From Carnegie Mellon, Davis transitioned to Intel as VP of Global Quality, taking on responsibility for product security, incident response, and product lifecycle frameworks. She then joined Comcast in 2016 as SVP of Product Security and Privacy, and rose through the ranks, becoming Corporate EVP, Chief Information Security and Chief Product Privacy Officer in 2021, and finally Global CISO and Chief Product Privacy Officer in 2023.
