Deel acquired Clarity, an Israeli AI cybersecurity company specializing in deepfake detection and identity verification, to combat identity fraud and deepfake risks during remote workforce hiring. Echo acquired the technology assets and enterprise customer contracts of Minimus, a hardened container image provider, following Minimus’s operational wind-down, expanding Echo’s distro support and strengthening its software factory.
Fortinet acquired Virtue AI to enhance its AI security offering, including for models, applications, and agentic systems, leveraging Virtue’s agentic system red teaming and real-time guardrail capabilities. Kiteworks expanded into Japan through its seventh acquisition, acquiring WAMNET Japan K.K., a secure data transfer and file-sharing provider, unifying file sharing, managed file transfer, email, APIs, and web forms under one governed platform.
Munich Re acquired California-based cyber insurtech At-Bay for $575 million, integrating At-Bay’s continuous risk mitigation and MDR services with global insurance coverage.
